Program
AGUILAS/El Ambiente relies on the strength and commitment of its
volunteers to reach its goals and objectives.
Volunteers
are a big part of what makes AGUILAS/El Ambiente feel like a family.
Working together we can achieve our goals and create a
more personal and meaningful experience for all of us.
We are committed
in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for its volunteers;
one that promotes encourages and acknowledges their work.

Volunteers
are required to be an El Ambiente member and attend 2-hour volunteer
orientation training.
We look

Member
attendance at our workshops is an important part of our program.
Therefore calls are made to our members to invite them
to attend. Generally two calls are made to each member
for every meeting.
Newsletter

hrs. Per month
Our
newsletter is part of the link that we keep
with our
members, to update, inform, and communicate. You would help print,
assemble, and mail out the newsletter.

This
committee works with the Program Coordinator. You will
brainstorm content, ideas, and be part of the creative process.
You
will work with three other individuals in planning and producing
the content of the El Ambiente monthly newsletter.

year AGUILAS/El Ambiente is involved in different community events:
Gay Pride, Folsom and Castro Street fairs. We sponsor and
organize social gatherings, art performances, and more.
We are looking for individuals to help with logistics,
setting up, and participate in these events.
